The Simone Veil Research Centre for Contemporary European Studies offers the Adenauer Division study program for B.A, M.A and Ph.D students wishing to put an emphasis on European and EU Integration Research to their studies. These programs explore the European continent in all its various facets including politics, society, international law, culture and economy. The program's main mission is to grant it's students the abilities and skills needed to understand the historical and contemporary processes that are taking place in Europe, and their implications on governance, society, international identity and relations, in particular the European community's relations with Israel . Doing so, we aim to offer a wide range of European related resources to the growing student community, and enrich Ben-Gurion University's research interests and orientations.
These objectives combined with the hard work spread out over a decade of existence has resulted in the Simone Veil Centre being recognized by the European Unionas a National Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence for European Studies.
